Happy World Book Day! ¡Feliz Día del libro!
Books were a fundamental part of my childhood. Growing up I didn’t always had friends… but I always had books, and for that, I’m grateful.
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve read and re-read Anne of Green Gables, Matilda, Asterix & Obelix, Mafalda, Harry Potter… These books and comics were magic for me!
Last week at a school visit, while doing my presentation, I saw two friends look at each other and exclaim in awe: “There are fish! On the wall! WOW!”. It was the most adorable thing. Those two little boys with big round eyes, completely in trance, looking at one of my illustrations. It made me realize that now I create magic, and for that, I’m grateful.
I have some events coming up. I’m hoping you will come! That way we can chat about how awesome books are. :)
